“I have had the opportunity to see several of Barbara’s musical keynotes and words don’t do justice to describe the warmth, connection, and inspiration that she creates in a room. I have never seen anyone do what she does!”
Peter Speek, former CEO and co-owner of Warren Miller Ski Films

A Modern Day Bard

Barbara is often called a modern day bard. She has named her unique methodology “EnterTRAINMENT,” where entertainment meets training and development. Developed to explore Right Relationship and life cycle or organizational milestones, she has created a series of learning experiences that invite participation from everyone.

Weaving music, real-life stories, deep teaching, and facilitation, Barbara engages participants in new ideas and conversations about leadership, living on purpose, sisterhood, marriage, conflict, and community. Designed to help people live their fullest expression, the sessions vary in length from two hours to two days and allow for interactive and experiential learning.

Clients have included schools, spiritual communities, women’s organizations, film festivals, and businesses, with physical environments that span from intimate settings to concert halls. Barbara typically is engaged to help expand thinking, resolve problems, or appreciate donors.

Here is Barbara’s EnterTRAINMENT Menu:

Women and Leadership–Bringing out the Best in Each Other

The Dalai Lama has said that Western women will save the world with their abundance of wealth, education, and freedom. Yet when asked, one in three women don’t want to work for another woman. What is that about? This keynote explores how women can support one another to amplify their abilities to make a difference in the world.

The Parenting Journey–Where Love Begins

Constructed to celebrate the lifelong path we travel as parents when we share home, hearth, and heart with other human beings. A tribute to all parents and children that will have you cherishing the road you are travelling and the magnificent gift of loving deeply.

Living with Death on Your Shoulder

Developed as a keynote for a film festival on living and dying, Barbara explores how the awareness of the impermanence of life can heighten our appreciation of the journey.

Turning Differences into Gold–An Exploration of How to Hold Differences and Remain Connected in Community

Being in community can be one of the most wonderful and challenging aspects of life. Barbara explores how our unconscious operating systems determine how we “see” community and how those beliefs influence what we do. Developed for a community that was struggling, this session has been delivered as a keynote and also as a “roll up your sleeves, let’s do this!” workshop. It explores self-fulfilling paradigms, personal responsibility, and how to hold differing opinions with respect while remaining connected.

Bring it On–The World Needs Your Medicine

The world is in a precarious place, and it is going to take all of u–on mission and fully expressing our gifts and talents–to turn the tide so that social justice and environmental sustainability are the norm. We in the Western world have the opportunity to impact significant change.

This keynote moves and inspires you to make your greatest difference in the world. A mix of stories and poetry, along with a song list that will make everyone itch to live their fullest life!

Can’t You Just Get Along?–Life with Sisters

Barbara has two fabulous sisters and whenever they fought, their mother would say, “Can’t you just get along?” Barbara and her sisters teach this workshop together and explore what it is to truly love, support, and walk our own paths–together.

“I’m so glad Barbara was part of the opening night of our Women’s Presidents’ Organization Retreat. Her beautiful voice and personality really brought out the unity and spirit in our group right from the start. . . . We spent a very meaningful time together as Barbara continued to guide us through stories, songs, and just her “way” of drawing everyone together. When it was time to head back into reality, I wanted to pack Barb up in my suitcase and take her home with me!”
-Tiffany Alley, President, Tiffany Alley Global

“Barbara has performed two musical keynotes for us. . . . As a fundraiser, I know giving comes from the heart and not the head, and Barbara has the unique ability to create an experience where people feel interconnected in a spirit of heartfelt openness and community. She is a treasure.”
-Mary Eaton Fairfield, Fundraising & Outreach Coordinator, Shining Mountain Waldorf School, Boulder, CO

“This is an odd testimonial but Barb put me to sleep! I haven’t had a good night sleep in years and after this concert, I slept soundly all night. It put the problems that keep me awake at night into perspective as I felt deeply appreciative for my life.”
